Luxer 1.0 and 1 year Anniversary Coming Up!

It’s a pleasure to announce that I’m almost ready to release version 1.0 of Luxer!

On December 14th, the one year anniversary of Luxer, I will be releasing the first official version of Luxer, Luxer 1.0!

I’d first like to thank the people who made this possible. Without iago, who wrote JavaOp, this would not have been possible. I’d like to thank Joe of x86 labs for helping me write the Java plugin that allowed Luxer to connect to JavaOp. I’d like to thank Frank of FSandoval.net for providing me with free and fast web hosting for more then two years, and for helping me with the graphical aspects of Luxer. I’d like to thank Sujak, for writing the original command list that I’m still working off of today.

Now, to the new stuff!

I have many features I’d like to implement for version 1.0. First of all, I need to work with most of the requests in the forums, specifically setting commands to have custom access and an idle.

I also want to create a real installer, which should not be too hard.

I will remove the arch1.sit and JavaOp2.jar files in the Luxer folder, and make the application stand 100% alone.

I will have Frank take one more look at the UI.

I’ll also create a website for Luxer, which you can now find here: http://rmarcus.info/luxer.

  1. Woohoo! Luxer has come a long way. I had my doubts at first, but you came through and made a fantastic bot that puts all of the Windows bots to shame. Congrats on the upcoming anniversary, or as we WoW addicts like to say: Ding!

Can’t wait for it. Yes all the windows bots to shame, SB goes down alot, cuz of the patches, but javaop is usually fixed first :) .

Well good luck completing the first version.
